Dismiss a group

Only the current group owner can call dismissGroup():

await openimsdk.dismissGroup(groupID);

groupID is the group to dismiss. Dismissal affects every member and differs from deleting, hiding, or clearing a conversation for the current account.

A successful Promise means that OpenIMServer completed the dismissal request. Related clients use OnGroupDismissed to mark the group as dismissed and disable group member management. See Group overview for the complete listener.

Whether the conversation remains belongs to the conversation domain. Do not delete it directly from a group event handler.
