Delete group applications
Batch remove group join application records using composite group and applicant identifiers.
Invoke deleteGroupRequests() to delete historical group join applications identified by their composite groupID and fromUserID pairs, ideal for purging processed records from audit lists.
Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
groupRequests | OpenIMSimpleGroupRequest[] | Yes | An array of group application objects to remove. |
groupRequests[].groupID | string | Yes | Target group identifier. |
groupRequests[].fromUserID | string | Yes | Applicant user ID (matching userID in the application record). |
Code example
import { deleteGroupRequests } from '@/uni_modules/unix-openim-sdk'
await deleteGroupRequests({
groupRequests: [
{
groupID: application.groupID,
fromUserID: application.userID,
},
],
})Deleting application history is distinct from declining a request. If a formal resolution is required, invoke Accept a group application or Reject a group application before deleting the record. Once deleted, the application can no longer be reviewed.
Return value
The Promise resolves with void once OpenIMServer removes the application entries.
State changes after the call
A resolved Promise confirms that the records were deleted. When onGroupApplicationDeleted fires, the client removes the record matching groupID:userID from its application lists. For complete event registration logic, see Get received group applications.
