Set group join verification

Configure verification requirements for group applications and invitations with the OpenIM React Native SDK.

Configure the verification policy required for incoming join requests and member invitations:

Parameters

Parameter	Type	Required	Description
`groupID`	`string`	Yes	Target group ID to update.
`needVerification`	`GroupVerificationType`	Yes	Group verification policy enum.

Verification policy options:

Enum value	Value	Description
`GroupVerificationType.ApplyNeedInviteNot`	`0`	Direct applications require approval; member invitations join directly.
`GroupVerificationType.AllNeed`	`1`	Applications and regular member invitations both require approval; owner and admin invites join directly.
`GroupVerificationType.AllNot`	`2`	Open group: applications and invitations join directly without approval.

Return value

A resolved Promise confirms that the join verification policy was updated on the server.

The update triggers the OnGroupInfoChanged event. Use groupID to update the needVerification property of the group in your state store. For event details, see Group overview.
