Report group messages as read

Report group-message read receipts with the Android SDK.

messageManager.sendGroupMessageReadReceipt(
    conversationID,
    visibleClientMsgIDs,
    new OnBase<String>() {
        @Override
        public void onSuccess(String data) {
            // The read receipts have been reported
        }

        @Override
        public void onError(int code, String error) {
            // Handle the failure
        }
    }
);

Every message in one batch must belong to the target group conversation. A successful callback means only that the server accepted the report; it does not mean that other client interfaces have already updated. The conversation unread count is maintained separately through markConversationMessageAsRead.

Other clients receive group-message read receipts through OnAdvanceMsgListener.onRecvGroupMessageReadReceipt:

To retrieve members who have or have not read a specific group message, use Get members who read a group message.
